Hi, I am Claire, founder of I Dream O’ Vino!

With my French-Italian roots (French mom, Italian dad—from Piemonte), the culture of wine was always present in my family growing up—my dad being a wine enthusiast and the first to introduce me to the world of wine.

Traveling, discovering different cultures, people, and cuisines has always been part of my DNA as I grew up changing countries frequently, immersing me in multi-lingual and multi-cultural environments.

I lived for more than 10 years in Latin-America, in countries with a strong wine culture including Argentina and Chile.

I then went back to France for my university studies and continued to travel in my free time, discovering different European wine regions.

I’ve always enjoyed learning about history and trying different wines from different regions, exploring new styles and grapes, visiting wineries and hearing winemaker’s stories. My passion for wine was growing and participating at tastings was not enough, I wanted to learn more! I started my wine education journey in 2013 with the WSET program at l’École du Vin in Paris and continued in California after moving from Paris to Los Angeles in 2016 with my husband and son where I worked as a private client wine advisor for a Burgundy producer and my own clients. I am now based on the east coast in Darien, Connecticut.

With the WSET 3 Advanced certification in 2017 and the French Wine Scholar Certification with the Wine Guild in 2019, I have put personal emphasis on continuing my education and aim to share my passion and knowledge with you as I believe the best wine experiences are the ones shared!
